Growing a Living Legacy
Our commitment to conservation reaches beyond the Serengeti. Through our initiative with Kijani Pamoja, we support restoration and tree-growing efforts around Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.

Guests can contribute towards planting a tree during their stay, creating a living legacy that continues long after they leave Tanzania.

Our People & Community
For Kuona, sustainability is also about people. We support initiatives that contribute to the wellbeing and development of communities around us, including orphanage support, community projects, local employment, skills development and women-focused initiatives.

Where possible, we source food and supplies locally, working with communities and producers in Tanzania and the regions surrounding Serengeti. This approach allows us to support local livelihoods while bringing the character and flavours of Tanzania into the guest experience.
